Re: Pokerking Asia frozen accounts.

Just to give everyone an update. We have thus far processed and notified 19 communities. Most of these communities were unfrozen and the money has been returned or is in the process of being returned to the players.

Poker King has taken a conservative but aggressive approach. If evidence is insufficient by our standards and that of the security panel, the accounts in question will be released. If however, an account is linked to accounts that are bots, colluders, or any other form of cheating we will take the most aggressive approach in dealing with that account.

Overall, I understand that this process has been slow and we were unequipped to handle the amount of data. During this period, we had to freeze accounts of several well known high stakes players - many of whom have significant influence in the community and money on the site. We had to do our diligence for the benefit of our community. For the most part, we have received extremely positive feedback from these players (who are encouraging a safe and cautious approach to releasing these accounts).

One final note. The community in question (where several affected players have come on voice their opinion) was a clear cut and egregious case of collusion. Being part of a stable and having a financial relationship with accounts involved in collusion implicates the account in question.

1) We have processed around 25 or so communities now. The communities heads have been notified and have been asked to return the money to the players (if they are being released). For accounts being shut down (e.g. for botting or collusion), accounts will have a notification informing the player of the outcome.

2) There will be a handful accounts (usually between 0-3 accounts in each community) that need additional investigation within some of these communities. These accounts are ones that either have inconclusive evidence or are potential holding accounts for the bot rings.

3) There will be an opportunity to appeal and a process we're establishing now for bot accounts (for collusion there is a standard process in place).

4) We are likely a couple days away from completing the rest of the communities (approximately 10 remain). We appreciate the patience from the community as we get through this difficult time.

Just wanted to drop my 2cents again, i have replied multiple times in this thread before. Today was the glorious day, i got my money back, untouched, after exactly 4 weeks of uncertainty.

I was very worried in the beginning obv because nobody knew what was going on, then after 3 weeks this thread popped up and i got less and less worried. the process seems harsh, but fair. that is what i counted on, seeing i have never done anything "wrong" in poker in my life in terms of colluding, botting, whatever.

Me and my roommate had ~$20k USD stuck on the site for 4 weeks and we both got out fine today, nothing to worry. Just wanted to share so people who are still waiting might catch some hope. If you are innocent, i would trust in the process.

I was always happy and onboard with the whole operation right from the beginning, as PK seems to be the first asian app that goes the extra mile to provide REAL games and is trying to fight actively. I could go on and **** about PM here for another 10min but everybody knows anyway.

I just wanted to chime in and say that after a couple of weeks my accounts with the rest of my community were unfrozen.
I was just as frustrated as everybody else in here in the beginning since I wasnt really sure what was going on . But after talking to a member of the new security team put in place to lead this investigation I felt a lot better about the sincerity behind the investigation.
You can rest assured that all accounts will be looked at objectively and the decision made will be based on what the data says.

这次确实很多无辜账号被封，已经在慢慢的解封，六楼说的没其它人抱怨，只是你没看到而已，你怎么知道没其它人抱怨？2+2上都炒翻天了。2+2上n&g第一页有，里面有扑克王安全主管的回复，楼主可以去看看。其实我觉得先封账号再查是问题的，如果实在要先封号，也要尽快的解决

动不动就质疑别人动机，只要有人发帖说关于扑克王的事，就说人是利益相关方，这次被打了脸吗？
