我是墙提到的“老徐”。 那手牌老陈记得略有出入, 但不影响墙的主题。我 打中文太慢, 以下用英文。希谅。
my hand was j567, suits not important. raise to $15 on button. 3 callers. flop is q45r. I bet 50, only bruce called. turn is 2, i bet 125, (less than pot in case i got checkraised), bruce checkraised to 500 which for sure is straight. i only have 7 outs to higher straight. normally a easy fold, but i knew he would definitely put me on a set if i call, so any board pair i can bluff, so that give me 11 bluff outs. these plus the implied odds (if the big straight come and he very likely will pay off a big bet) make a call profitable. another reason is he has a big stack, and i sat right behind him and wanted to tilt him. the river is another 5, i had trips but was definitely losing so i fired 750 into a pot of about 1065. a 3 or 8 on the river i will make the similar bet. bruce mucked and i showed my cards, which put him on obvious tilt, kept talking about my bluff and lost his whole stack within 2 hours.
i think this is pretty standard playing deep stacks in position. the best part of the calgary game is uncapped buyin, even for a 1-2 game, which let you raise a wide range preflop and still give you room to outplay your opponents postflop.
there is another hand i played against KK and another that is much more interesting. i will post it if i have time later. |
