Baccarat — Flashing Dealers and Shuffle Tracking
Whether gleaned from the carelessness of a flashing dealer or shuffle tracking, sometimes the astute player has advance knowledge that a card in a specific position out of the next six will be a particular point value. This is information is not easy to come by, but is very valuable when you have it.
The following four tables show the probability and expected value of all three bets according to the order of the card and the rank. The odds are the same whether the first or third card is known, because it will go to the Player either way. Same with the second and fourth card, which must go to the Banker. The tables for the fifth and sixth card take under consideration that sometimes these cards will not be dealt in the next hand. The cells in red denote a positive expected value, as high as 21.5% when the 1st or 3rd card is known to be a 9 (bet the Player).
