I think fold is not an really good option here,look at the odds.
Seriously, at big blind, with AJs, facing a 2.5x opening and one caller.
In another way, it is very possible we won't get anything better than AJ for next 3 rounds.
And we could not narrow him down to AQ/AK.
Shove is fine,depends which goal we aimed to, money or final table. Or whether we think we need to gamble at least once to get significant money: if yes, this is probably the best chance; if not, then call.
i feel call is probably best in this very situation since 1.5 BB won't be a huge damage to you stack, and i think AJs play not bad post flop for 3 handed: if J or flush draw comes we commit.
if A comes, then our opponent most probably will shut up if he is behind, you still can make correct decision.
Again call/shove is indeed close, but i still hate to fold here.
