As reported by Gambling911.com last night, the popular PokerStars eCheck deposit and withdrawal options was getting blocked in various states including New York and Florida. Add Missouri, Nevada, Maryland and Indiana to that list, but it is likely to encompass a much broader percentage of the United States.
PokerStars is having one of its most challenging times ever in its history regarding payment processing. One of its biggest processors has recently agreed to cooperate with US authorities out of Maryland in a federal case involving payment facilitators of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, the two largest Web card rooms in the world. The later company is also having issues with payouts and deposit features.
It is not clear if or when the feature will return.
The money processing issues did not appear to be affecting PokerStars volume as the site averaged 50219 players at press time, most of whom resided in the US.作者: dolphin 时间: 2011-1-28 08:39
